The post-graduation work permit allows students who have graduated from a designated learning institution to gain valuable Canadian work experience. A PGWP allows eligible students to work full time, at almost any job, any location, any employer upon completion of their studies in Canada. It is considered the first step towards advancing your professional goals, to realize the full experience of your Canadian education and may also play a vital role in supporting your application for becoming a permanent resident of Canada, should that be your long-term goal.
Students may be granted a Postgraduate work permit of upto 3 years, depending on the length of their qualification.
